Is there a minimum age requirement?

Yes, you must be at least 16 to study at Cicero. Our sister school, Weymouth English Centre, has separate courses for young learners aged 13 to 17 in Weymouth; please visit their website for English for Young Learners

Where is the school?

Location Map: Tunbridge Wells - close to London and the seasideWe are in Royal Tunbridge Wells, a friendly town of about 60,000 inhabitants, 42 miles south of London in the "Garden of England", an area which includes some of the finest countryside in England.

The town has a wide variety of shops both large and small, many pubs, cafes and restaurants, several nightclubs, a museum, a library, an art gallery, cinemas, plenty of music venues and a sports centre. There is something for all ages and it is easy to visit these places without a car.

There is fine countryside around Tunbridge Wells and plenty of interesting towns, picturesque villages and several beautiful castles.
London is just 50 minutes away by train and you can reach the seaside in 40 minutes.

How can I get to Tunbridge Wells?

You can fly to Gatwick (the nearest airport) Heathrow or Stansted and we can book a taxi to collect you from the airport and take you straight to your accommodation, or you can travel there by train or coach.
If you come by train, we can book a taxi to collect you from Ashford International or a London railway station, or you can travel directly on to Tunbridge Wells by local train.
If you come by car, we are within easy reach of Dover for the ferries and Folkestone for the Channel Tunnel.

The arrival day is usually the Sunday before your course starts and the departure day is the Saturday after your course ends.
