How old should I be to go on a course?

For our courses in Tunbridge Wells you must be at least 16 years old.

If you are between 13 and 17, you can go on special summer courses which our sister school, Weymouth English Centre, runs in Weymouth, on the south-west coast.

If you have already left school then our English courses at our year-round school in Tunbridge Wells may be of interest to you. Click here for information on our adult courses in England.

Who are the students?

Our students are school children from all over the world who want to improve their English. The lessons will help you with your English at school.

I don't speak any English yet; are the courses suitable for me?

No, you need to be able to speak at least a little English. The courses are not suitable for complete beginners.

How do I book?

Simply click on "Book a course" and fill out the form. We will then send you written confirmation of your booking. You should wait for our confirmation of your booking, or check with us that there is a place free on the course of your choice, before you book your flight. You can also fill out the booking form in our brochure and then either fax it, or post it to us.

What do we do when there aren’t any lessons?

We have put together a varied and interesting leisure programme with something for everyone - a mixture of sport and games, culture, sightseeing and of course, shopping.

You will find a list of what is included in your programme with the description of each course town.

Do I have to take part in all the activities?

No, you don't, but most people take part in all of the activities because they are fun and interesting; we always spend a lot of time finding out what interests our students and what they like doing.

Do I need Insurance?
