Courses for young learners

Our lessons are designed to show you than learning English can be fun! They are very different from normal lessons at school and you will get lots of opportunities to practise your English. The students are from many different countries and so there's always a great atmosphere. Not only will you be improving your English, but you'll get to know lots of great friends from all over the world too!

What class will I be in?
On the first day you will do a short written and spoken test which lasts about 1 hour. We use this to put you in an appropriate class for you level and age.
How many students are there in each class?
There are never more than 10 students in each class.
What will I learn in the lessons?
These are general English courses; the lessons include some grammar and writing, but there is also a lot of practice in spoken English, general vocabulary, typical English expressions and using the language in everyday situations. You will work in pairs or small groups of other adult students and will get the chance to practise all the skills.

Oh yes - we expect you to work hard. But don’t worry - the lessons in England are totally different to those in your school. You might not believe that you can learn and have fun at the same time but anyone who comes on one of our courses soon realises that this is indeed true!

Do you have intensive English courses as well?
Yes, the English Intensive and Activities Course (EI.30) in Tunbridge Wells has lessons on weekday mornings and afternoons. The extra afternoon classes are designed to improve your communication and fluency.
Who are the teachers?
The teachers are carefully selected by Cicero. They have all been trained to teach English as a foreign language and enjoy working with young people. Their qualifications are internationally recognised.
